Located in Anacortes, WA, the destination point for the beautiful San Juan Islands, Island Hospital is seeking candidates for the opportunity to join our team as Lead, Clinic RN for Fidalgo Medical Associates which is a vibrant out-patient, multi-specialty clinic. Under the direction of the Clinic Manager or Supervisor, the Registered Nurse (RN) oversees the effective clinical operations of the clinic. The Clinic RN provides direct patient care and manages patient flow in the clinic, serves as a patient advocate between the clinic and outside entities, and is responsible for clinic safety and execution of proper protocols.
In addition to the duties above, the Lead RN for Fidalgo Medical Associates is responsible for preparing a draft clinical schedule for the Clinic Manager's approval, coordinating staff coverage for planned and unplanned vacancies, collaborating with the Clinic Manager on staff training, competency requirements and staff meetings, participating in the interview process in the selection of clinical staff, and providing input for employee evaluations, and other duties necessary to support effective clinical operations of the Clinic.
Two (2) years of previous clinical experience in an out-patient Physician practice required.
Previous experience in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred.
Current Registered Nurse license issued by the WA Department of Health.
Current BLS certification.
