The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Center Manager for our established Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center located in SW Portland, adjacent to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. The Endoscopy Center Manager acts as a working manager and is responsible for the overall daily function of the Endoscopy Center. The Endoscopy Center Manager has the primary duty of managing the department, and provides a safe environment for patients undergoing procedures, while following and enforcing established standards of care and Endoscopy Center policy. In addition, the Endoscopy Center Manager is responsible for supervising Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Reprocessing Technicians and support staff while assisting physicians with procedures as needed. Additional responsibilities include, monitoring staff levels, providing leadership in developing/retaining staff, resolving staff conflicts, hiring, training, and mentoring new staff, and performing annual reviews. This position works closely with the Director of Operations to ensure excellent, safe patient care and smooth work flow for physicians. Starting pay range, based on experience: $46.00 – $57.00 per hour

•Current Oregon Registered Nurse license required •Minimum 3 years nursing management experience in an outpatient surgery setting; 5+ years experience preferred •ACLS certification required •Previous experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement (CQI activities) preferred •General nursing knowledge of all procedures performed within the Endoscopy Center preferred •Previous experience successfully guiding AAAHC and/or The Joint Commission certification and recertification preferred •Demonstrated ability to help develop policies & procedures, train staff, plan and direct workflow and resolve problems •Excellent communication skills and follow through
