We are seeking talented individuals to join the team of RN/HIBs -Labor & Delivery at Mercyhealth, our wholly owned subsidiary that links Mercyhealth together by offering a complete continuum of health care services to our membership, including seniors, individuals, and area employers and their employees.
RN/HIBs-Labor and Delivery Sign-on bonuses available for qualified nurses Opportunities throughout our locations
Treating a patient population ranging from neonatal through geriatric, the professional we select will provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care to patients within a hospital setting. Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, this individual will administer prescribed medications and treatments and document procedures according to standards of care. Additional responsibilities include:
Initiating plans of care according to individualized patient needs as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy.
Floating to various units based on identified needs.
Participating in department or unit performance-improvement activities.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
BSN upon hire or agreement to enroll in an accredited BSN completion program.
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days, as well as other certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NALS.
Current licensure as an RN in the state of Wisconsin and/or Illinois.
Ability to pass the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or Illinois Health Care Workers Background Check.
One or more years of related experience.
