Description: The Practice Manager has the overall responsibility for managing multiple practice locations in central Massachusetts including staff recruiting, selection, training and evaluation, budget management and practice operations. Directs day to day operations to include ongoing review and evaluation of operational issues. Recommends measures to improve performance and increase efficiency in the office including policy, procedures and other practice related issues. Professional responsibility to include knowledge & leadership skills, ethical standards, and staff motivation. The Practice Manager may also participate in other Mass Lung & Allergy business development activities.

The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelors degree with specialty in healthcare, public administration or related field • MPH, MHA, MSN or MBA and experience preferred. • Five (5) years management experience in a specialty setting required.
Proficiency with EMR systems (eCW preferred) and software applications, including MS Office
Knowledge of budget, billing, finance and managed care rules and regulations preferred.
Membership in a professional organization such as Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) or American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) certification is strongly encouraged.
Must demonstrate a record of increasing job responsibility linked to accomplishments in health care management. Strong physician relations experience required
