Develops and maintains consumer-centric product benefits, programs and services that support optimal health outcomes and member experience, by leveraging insights provided by market research and clinical management, and helping to drive achievement of the organizational strategic objectives.
This position is critical to both day-to-day product design management as well as development of innovative benefit and program design constructs.
Will work in a collaborative and positive work environment, while being challenged to think differently about how we deliver and finance healthcare.
Reports to the Director of Product Development and Market Research.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*1. Develops flexible design constructs and product development processes that allow rapid iterative pro-typing and refinement of benefits, programs and services, in collaboration with the market research team.
*2. Designs consumer-centric benefits, programs and services that drive improvements in quality measures, overall member experience, and cost trend.
*3. Presents informative reports and recommendations to administrators and various internal and external audiences, concerning product development and strategy.
*4. Understands the process flow of the benefits, marketing communications, and rate filings processes and recommends changes to optimize efficiencies and ensure flexibility and accuracy.
*5. Works collaboratively with other staff and multi-cross-functional teams, and incorporates internal data, metrics and key performance indicators, in product and member experience analyses as appropriate.
*6. Continually monitors, analyzes and interprets market and competitive data in collaboration with the market research team, recognizing changes in market conditions and presenting findings to mid-level and senior management, and uses the information to inform product strategy recommendations.

Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of five related product or marketing experience required. Health insurance product development experience preferable.
Healthcare and/or health insurance industry knowledge and experience required.
Market Research experience is a plus.
Work is typically performed in an office environment.
