The Director of National Accounts leads Lacuna Health's efforts to develop new business and maintain and expand current customer relationships principally with regional and national certified Home Health and Skilled Nursing Facility customers and prospects. He/she is responsible for achieving a new business quota of certified Home Health and Skilled Nursing Facility providers for Lacuna Health's Aftercare and Afterhours products, while also ensuring that existing customers' needs and expectations are met by the company.
This position will not have any direct reports to start but will manage a team of regional account executives as the company grows. The Director of National Accounts reports directly to the COO of Lacuna Health. This position is remote and requires 50-75% travel including customer meetings and regional and national trade shows.
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in certified Home Health prospective and Skilled Nursing Facility current customers at branch/facility and corporate level.
Coordinates the involvement of extended Lacuna Health team, to assist in sales cycle and meet customers' expectations.
Meets assigned quota targets for new business and management of existing contract SLAs
Be a strong brand ambassador to advance our company, our values, and our market position in all day-to-day activities through your role as a sales leader
Proactively leads joint company strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary Lacuna Health personnel.
Manage white boarding sessions, driving to deliverables, meeting with stakeholders, partners, and executives.
Provide timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders; hold regular cross-organizational management briefings.
Managed, mentored and developed a team of account executives as the portfolio grows
Bachelor's degree in Business, Nursing or life sciences required.
Minimum ten years of Healthcare sales experience in a business to business sales environment
Minimum five years of Healthcare sales experience selling software, services, or solutions to certified Home Health providers and/or Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Must have established certified Home Health and/or Skilled Nursing Facilities provider relationships and a proven track record of quota achievement both as a leader and as an individual contributor
Proven track record of Prospecting, Presenting to C-Suite, Account Management and Closing.
Knowledge of healthcare provider operations, specifically post-acute care operations
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
Proven analytic and quantitative ability – use data to drive decision-making
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required
Effective communication skills with stakeholders both internally and externally, including providers, insurers and members of the business community as desired – ability to convey complex ideas simply for all audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead and engender the trust of employees, members, regulators, and providers
Approximate percent of time required to travel: 50-75% for customer site visits, conferences, industry leader forums, sales and marketing events, and training
