VCU Health System's Office of Business Development is seeking an Associate Administrator-Business Planning. This position provides leadership and administrative support to the MCVP Board of Directors, Executive Director and President for all projects and programs related to the implementation of the strategic objectives of MCVP.
Provides oversight on all contractual agreements between MCVP and other entities and manages key relationships associated with these agreements. Develop and manages the annual budgets for the Office of Strategy and Business Development.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Administration, Human Resources or related field from an accredited program
Three (3) to five (5) years of previous work experience in a department with an academic medical center or large multi-specialty group practice or related field.
Previous experience with regulatory requirements related to healthcare services and physician practices.
Budgeting and financial forecasting experience
Physician practice operational management experience
Development of business plans
Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications to include Microsoft applications and e-mail
Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or other related field from an accredited program
Project Management Certifications or Training
Lean Six Sigma Training
Previous work experience working in day-to-day contact with physicians
Project management experience
Experience with governing Boards of Directors of tax exempt organizations
