The Vice President of Sales, Care Solutions will generate new and incremental revenue growth through strategic sales planning and execution of sales activities. The VP is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan for a new line of managed care solutions. This individual is committed to prospecting new business, establishing partnerships, managing relationships, and raising awareness/education around our innovative managed care products and solutions. A self-starter, the candidate will bring high energy, enthusiasm, and an action-oriented mentality to his/her team and to the company.This individual will be committed to the science of managed care with a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and associated risk.
What You Will Do:
Understand and translate the company’s business goals into strategic sales initiatives, including business opportunity analysis, pre- and post-sale services, and customer-driven product feedback.
Develop successful relationships with key partners, working closely to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Prospect new business and penetrate the market for continued growth and expansion.
Present company services and solutions to current and prospective clients.
Work collaboratively with the executive team and serve as an important spokesperson in advancing the company’s image and reputation with clients.
Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
Represent and promote the company in the marketplace through attendance and participation at industry conferences and events.
What You Will Bring:
10 years of relevant experience in long-term care or health care industry; managed care preferred.
Possess a "passion for excelling" and have a proven track record for achieving sales leadership targets.
Extensive knowledge of population health and disease management
Thorough understanding of managed care (Medicare Advantage preferred), and comprehensive understanding of industry trends
Professional presence and demeanor and be polished in selling into executive levels; experience working with Executive level clinicians (e.g. CMOs, Medical Directors) strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence
Consistently exhibits enthusiasm, zeal and a strong business ethic based on honesty and integrity.
