This position will work 5 days a week from 6AM - 2:30PM. We are currently recruiting for Full-Time Dietary Aide. This position will work 5 days a week from 6AM-2:30PM. Primary Responsibilities MAY Include: Prepares and serves food in quantities according to menu, number of people to be served, and portion control. Ensures food is prepared and ready to serve in a timely manner, including for scheduled meals, snacks, or special events. Prepares partial meals for future meals, including ensuring that meat pulled from the freezer safely thaws. Make salads, cuts vegetables and wraps desserts for future meals. Sets up and replenishes salad bar, milk and juice as required. Prepares resident snacks. At all times, uses accepted techniques in handling, preparation and serving food to clients and employees. Assists with receiving, inspection and proper storage of all supplies entering Food Service Department. Maintains a safe working environment by following all safety procedures, including the use of Standard Precautions, proper storage and use of chemicals, and properly securing the Food Service area. Tears down meal lines and cleans up serving line area after meals as required. Sweeps and mops kitchen areas as directed. Washes trays and dishes, following proper sanitation and cleanliness standards. Maintains work area cleanliness, including floors, garbage disposal, dishes, etc.
