As part of the Client Services team, the Senior Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation of Burgess’ software into our client’s IT infrastructure and Burgess SaaS models. This position also provides technical support and serves as back-up for help desk monitoring.
What the Role Involves (Responsibilities)
Work directly with new and existing client business managers to integrate Burgess Software.
Work directly with new and existing clients IT departments to integrate Burgess Software into clients IT infrastructure and Burgess SaaS models.
Delivery of critical projects with aggressive timelines.
Develop & manage implementation plans with project management team and client.
Must meet the needs of clients during the implementation process and report back to Account Manager on any barriers to project success and/or launch timelines.
Work closely with all internal departments, as necessary, navigate through operational and technical day-to-day client challenges to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Document and maintain current client IT processes and business requirements.
Utilize effective problem-solving skills to overcome both internal and external IT challenges.
May be involved in sales assistance with scoping projects or developing proposals.
Assist Account Managers with call center trainings when necessary during launch.
Work with software developers and quality assurance groups to implement and test software and data updates to the Burgess software. This includes manual and automated testing processes.
Work cross-functionally with client service, development and regulatory teams to resolve inquiries regarding the software, including payment policy and product functionality.
Communicate to internal teams any compliance guidelines and processes that are requirements and/or proprietary for clients.
Identify and work with technical writers to make changes to end user documentation
Act as a technical escalation resource and serve as primary back-up for help desk monitoring.
Assist in SaaS release management including; scheduling software release resources and events, notifying customers about SaaS maintenance windows, upgrade coordination for production and test environments and post-update testing and defect remediation.
Identify internal process issues and, when appropriate, participate in the improvement process.

What You've Got (Qualifications & Skills)
BS Degree in a technical, business or healthcare related discipline, or equivalent directly related work experience.
3+ years working in a software development environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
2+ years documented experience managing software implementations/integrations projects.
2+ years of experience working with Medicare Prospective Payment and/or State Medicaid.
SaaS methodology experience
Knowledge of SQL, .NET, Web Services, MSMQ, ETL.
Knowledge of IT network environments and operating systems.
Ability to understand complex IT concepts but simplify them into layman's terms verbally and in writing
Strong project management, technical skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Medicare reimbursement software.
Ability to interface effectively at all levels internally and externally.
