Nemours Children’s Health System is seeking a FULL-TIME account advisory specialist.

High school diploma or equivalent required
2 or more years customer service experience
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Respond to inbound service calls from guarantors/customers and insurance companies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Perform necessary account maintenance functions and activities to fulfill customer requests
Verify patient demographics and update guarantor information
Verify and process insurance coverage information.
Perform insurance and selfpay adjustments as necessary
Distribute self-pay money/undistributed funds
Transfer funds as needed to clear any outstanding patient responsibility
Escalate guarantor issues as appropriate
Establish payment plan agreements
Set-up recurring payments upon request
Ability to handle and diffuse difficult customer situations
Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail while ensuring accuracy and completeness
Ability to make well-informed decisions within the boundaries of the job function.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Remain calm under pressure
