The clinical manager provides direct oversite of a dynamic level III Neonatal Intensive Care unit which includes a neonatal resuscitation team and neonatal transport services. The manager is accountable for the provision of effective, high quality patient care with 24-hour accountability on a designated unit(s). The role encompasses multiple responsibilities including management and evaluation of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery; management of human and fiscal resources; compliance with regulatory and professional standards and interdisciplinary collaboration. The clinical manager aligns the mission, vision, and values of the Hospital System and the Service Line with unit activities. The clinical manager, as a change agent, is accountable for implementation of strategies that result in positive patient outcomes.
- Baccalaureate required from an accredited college or university. Graduate degree preferred.
- Licensure as a RN in the state of Georgia.
- Five (5) years of recent clinical experience in a neonatal intensive care setting and a minimum of three (3) years leadership experience.
