Must be strong team player and assist other departmentstaff. Maintains policy and procedure manuals and ensuresthat material is entered into index and filed. Ensures the entry of data intoAllscripts (e.g. entry of insurance appeal determinations). Ability to performa variety of complex of task assignment responsibility, have the independentjudgment required to complete assignments, and level of responsibility,technical knowledge and confidential support required. Assist with managing thedepartmental forms, procedures and policies. Coordinate the administrativeaspects of various interdepartmental and interagency matters. Responsible forcoordination and management of requests from insurance companies, includingclinical requests, denial notifications and other correspondence from insurancecompanies. Oversee department timecard entry and approval, supply requisition,and check requests and purchase orders. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
