Provide quality, timely courteous service and optimum maintenance of patient accounts, including dissemination of information, billing services, follow-up and collection of accounts receivable, bad debt, governmental and contract compliance issues/guidelines.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years hospital business office, insurance claims processing, physician office billing and/or hospital admitting and PC/CRT.
Prefer hospital Medicare Billing/Collection background. Clear understanding of CMS guidelines as it relates compliance and filing appeals, working Medicare secondary payer claims, familiarity with SSI billing system and Epic patient accounting system.
