South Florida not-for-profit foundation seeks a part-time audiologist to provide patient care two to three days per week as an independent contractor. Set your own hours while giving back to the community by assisting low-income adults and children.
Hearing aid selection and fitting.
Hearing aid follow-up and repairs.
Maintaining chart notes.
Making appropriate referrals.
Collection of fees.
Hearing aids are dispensed according to an income-based sliding-scale fee schedule. There are no quotas, commissions or pressure to sell.
Minimum requirements include:
Florida audiology license.
Professional liability insurance.
Strong desire to assist underserved populations.
Ability to work independently.
At least one year of clinical experience is preferred, however new graduates with a strong history of community service will be considered.
Additional Salary Information: The independent contractor will receive hourly compensation with no additional commission or benefits. The hours and start date for this position are flexible. Please include your availability and desired weekly hours in your cover letter.
