This is a PRN RRT position that will be scheduled for rotating shifts based on the needs of the department.
At Saint Francis Hospital Memphis - the Respiratory Therapist performs various respiratory therapy services at an advanced level in accordance with departmental policy and procedure to insure therapeutic or diagnostic procedures prescribed by physicians are carried out in a professional manner.
Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system
Performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers
Required: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.
Required: 1 year of experience
Required: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license with ABG Analyst endorsement from the State of Tennessee or work permit. NBRC RRT credential. BLS Preferred: ACLS, PALS & NRP
