Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is seeking an experienced and passionate CNM to join our outstanding obstetrical and women’s healthcare team. Serving the women and families of rural Northeastern Vermont, our practice consists of 3 CNM’s in full scope practice, supported by 3 OB/GYN physicians and 2 WHNP’s. In addition to women’s health and family planning services, our midwives provide 24 hour on call coverage for midwifery caseload patients. Deliveries occur in our beautifully renovated birth center, where our emphasis is on supporting physiologic birth and patient choice to achieve excellent outcomes. Nursing staff provide 1:1 support for women who have access to water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, intrathecal, and VBAC options. Our recenty renovated birth center features spacious LDRP’s, a comfortable call room suite, and full time lactation counselor support. The Women’s Wellness Center offices are located conveniently on the same floor. As one of the oldest midwifery services in Vermont, we are proud that our numbers for overall and NTSV cesarean rates are well below USDHHS 2020 targets. Position is full-time .8 FTE with 1:3 call.
Nurse-Midwifery Certificate required, Masters Degree preferred; 1 year experience required, 3-5 years preferred; Current VT RN and APRN license, DEA and CPR required.
