A s a Strategic Partner, the HR Business Partner for the Penn State Health West Shore Region is responsible to align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Serve as a consultant to management on HR related issues. Act as an employee champion and change agent. Proactively assess and anticipate HR related needs and communication needs and seek to develop integrated solutions. Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its plans, and its culture.
M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree plus 5 years related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent consulting & business literacy skills required
Excellent client management and conflict management skills required.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
A bility to manage multiple and conflicting priorities required.
Masters Degree in Human Resource Management preferred.
PHR or SHPR highly preferred.
Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
