You Will Be Responsible For:
Oversees the AHS/FH Orlando region campuses coverage for radiology and cardiology applications.
Handles the day to assignments for team members related to covering application support. Designates specific team members.
Manages the documentation for the PACS Administrators related to SOPâ™s and Work Instructional documents.
Weekly creation and distribution of AIT Enterprise Imaging schedule to all PACS Administrators, in coordination with Senior Manager.
Works directly with the PACS Administrators on whether or not they have the tools to do their job. Then following up directly with solutions to their equipment or software needs in a timely manner.
Meet a least once a month with each PACS Administrator for minimum of an hour to see where they are in relation to their work assignments, task, projects, health, well-being and any other items of concern that need to be address.
Constantly strive to make sure that the individual employee is moving forward in their career path. Work with the team members to set goals that are achievable and keeps them engaged.
Supports AIT leadership (i.e. Director/Senior Manager) by having open dialogue and feedback regarding ongoing issues, staff concerns, process improvement ideas as well as providing timely reports.
Attend multiple AHS/AIT training sessions each year for leaders. This to also include external training courses when appropriate.
Monitor of the AHS/AIT enterprise ticketing system for the FH Orlando region area and provide necessary feedback to direct reports and customer follow-up.
Manages AIT equipment purchase request by entering, approving or denying job related purchases.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience Required:
Associate Degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Healthcare, Administration or other related field.
Minimum of 2 yearsâ™ experience in a team leadership role
Minimum of 5 yearsâ™ healthcare IT experience or radiology experience
Experience in vendor management
Experience in managing and maintaining positive physician related relationship
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:
Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) or Certified PACS System Analyst (CPSA)
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in clinical information systems, with preference for knowledge of the AGFA/Siemens/GE/Hologic imaging, Nuance and Cerner EMR vendor systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and manage conflict with minimum supervision from the Senior Manager.
Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, with an excellent ability to multitask.
The Manager of Enterprise Imaging Systems is responsible for providing day-to-day AIT management oversight of the PACS Administrators for the AHS/FH Orlando region campuses. Provides onsite capacity with the PACS Administrators at the FH Orlando campus. This will include having 1-on-1â™s with direct reports on a reoccurring basis. Being available 24/7 for issues that requires escalation. Coordinating schedules for all PACS Administrators that they oversee. Working with the team to maintain compliance with AIT ticketing system service level agreements. Monitoring work queues, attendance and other day-to-day reporting items. In charge of all approvals for time off request, reimbursements and other financial decision related to the team members. Handles appropriate HR related matters for staff regarding disciplinary actions or other concerns. Conduit for PACS Administrators to address issues related to staff and leadership at the local facilities. Meeting with hospital leadership, particularly radiology administration is a key role that the Manager of Enterprise Imaging will oversee on a consistent basis. Excellent vendor relationships in order to better support the end users.
