The Carrier Relationship Manager will develop and maintain relationships with carrier partners, executive management, and key personnel in support of Kelsey ACO Health Plan account retention and renewals. The Carrier Relationship Manager will play a lead role in the annual plan review, retention, and renewal of key cases. The Carrier Relationship Manager will take steps to advance relationships at identified Kelsey ACO Health Plan partners to achieve an increased market share of in-force cases. The Carrier Relationship Manager will support Health Plan Sales Managers in the RFP process and work on the implementation of cases in partnership with KelseyCare Operations Account Management on assigned groups.

Qualifications include:
Associates degree or comparable work experience. Education may be substituted for each year of work experience.
10 years’ experience in benefits design, insurance sales, or accounts management for a health plan.
Detailed knowledge of the RFP process, sales planning, and execution processes. Successful experience in working at a health plan, consulting firm, or in a similar industry focusing on health plan carrier relationships or employer relationships.
General Lines Agent: Life, Accident, Health and HMO – State of TX
Excellent listening, negotiating, and presentation abilities.
Proven ability to engage, collaborate, and build strong relationships with health plan contacts. Demonstrated contacts at carriers preferably in the Houston market.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office products.
Results-focused with proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results against specific timelines.
Preferences include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
