In collaboration with Administrator and Director of Nursing (DON), the MDS Quality and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for collection, submission and reporting of all data and information to meet compliance with established internal and external quality and regulatory requirements for MDS. This position has responsibility for oversite and completion of the MDS process. Provides direction, feedback, and education for all members of the inter-professional team. Monitors and insures team members compliance with established process to support comprehensive patient assessment requirements for MDS completion. Responsible for coordinating the patient care plan and MDS/ Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to assure that desired patient outcomes and services are provided and documented. Duties include formulating or suggesting proactive policy and procedure changes in response to quality and regulatory change impacting MDS. The position will be working 72 hours every two weeks on the day shift, 8 hour shifts, no weekends. The position is eligible for benefits.
