The Syracuse, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)! We have opportunities available in our challenging Spinal Cord Injury/Rehabilitation bed unit. This unit is designed to support, promote, and maintain the health, independence, quality of life and productivity of individuals with SCI/D throughout their lives. Patients on this challenging specialty bed unit may require Central/PICC IV lines, and bowel/bladder and wound care. Nursing experience encompasses quadriplegia, paraplegia, surgery, new injury rehabilitation, etc., to meet the needs of our complex patients.

Requires graduation from a practical/vocational education program, LPN licensure and U.S citizenship. One year of LPN exp. highly preferred; one year of rehab unit exp is preferred.
