DESCRIPTION: The part-time position is 40 hours bi-weekly.
Energetic, experienced team player, knowledgeable in all aspects of Interventional Radiology, including cat scan/special procedures/Interventional Radiology. Works with the Radiologist and other personnel to provide diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Angiography Suite. Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to provide diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures in the Special Procedures areas within Diagnostic Imaging. Functional supervision may be exercised over cross-training Radiologic Technologists and/or students.

Qualifications: POSITION QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of JRCERT approval formal program in Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year general radiology technologist.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Three years special procedures.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) and CPR required.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. SUPERVISES: Functional supervision may be exercised over cross-training Radiologic Technologists and/or students.
