SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership team, the diversity, equity and inclusion officer (DEI) will ensure that diversity agendas are successfully implemented and in line with business objectives. Understanding external trends, will develop strategic initiatives to increase diversity in patient access and diversity in the workforce. The DEI Officer is responsible for recognizing, creating and implementing plans to promote diversity within the organization and reduce inequities in all aspects of the organizational functions including patient access, staff recruitment, employment and satisfaction. A significant part of the role is promoting and developing training programs to enhance employee understanding on inclusions issues. The DEI Officer acts as a regulator for diversity issues and tasked with ensuring the organization follows appropriate legislation and employment law regulations around bias and inclusion.
