Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Provides oversight and management of the contract lifecycle, including but not limited to drafting, modification, amendments, renewals, and terminations of all IT contracts.
• Preparation and review of all contract documentation, including, master agreements, statements of work, renewals, term letters, amendments, etc. with the appropriate vendors.
• Develop & maintain a system of record and proactively audit IT applications license usage versus contracted licenses in order to recommend additions or reductions to true-up licenses with vendors.
• Negotiation of business requirements & legal terms with a goal of ensuring AdventHealth policies and processes are met.
• Collaboration with IT product owners, executives, and leaders across the enterprise on business, legal, financial, technical, performance and security requirements.
• Maintenance of centralized file, storage and document system for all contract-related material.
• Support company-wide inventory of all applications (researching, assessing, and contract) and vendors.
• Maintain and update contract template and generation of exhibits and or schedules.
• Reconciliation of discrepancies related to contract invoices.
• Creates a clear and consistent approach to IT contracting across AdventHealth, identifying significant areas of variation and drivers of top performance.
• Guides standardization of sourcing & contracting content across AdventHealth IT.
• Work with the Executive Director, IT Market Planning standardize contracting service processes and create/maintain consistency in process, communications, and strategies.
• Oversee department efforts to accomplish daily duties on contracts and advise team members on the proper course of action to resolve issues.
• Facilitate and coordinate IT application/product vendor selection (RFP and scans) on behalf of AdventHealth IT
• Manage decommissioning processes
• Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance
• Develop and maintain contract status reporting

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience in corporate contracting with paralegal skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent business sense.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Business or Information Technology
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in progressive organizes with a focus on corporate contracting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Master’s Degree in Business or Information Technology.
• Legal or paralegal experience

Summary:

The Director of Contract Services & Sourcing is responsible for supporting contracting & sourcing across AdventHealth IT. These functions are key to ensuring contractual agreements are aligned with AdventHealth company policies and legal requirements. This includes a broad understanding of negotiations and legal analysis to ensure reliability in contracting. In addition, the director will lead complex, enterprise-wide strategic sourcing initiatives for the procurement of goods and services. This individual will work at the direction of the Executive Director, IT Market Planning, and work with attorneys, executives, leaders, etc. to onboard contracts and maintain service operations.

The Director will ensure contracting services & sourcing provides consistent measures of success. The director will also evaluate and optimize both vendor onboarding operations & product sourcing. In this capacity, the Director will act as the program director to facilitate decision making and analyze the performance of contract lifecycles. This includes analyzing existing processes, researching products, coordinating application/product vendor selection (RFP & market scans), and supporting services across AdventHealth IT.
