Description Emergency Department Registration Specialist (Adult ER) " NOTE: YOU MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING IN BOTH ADULT AND CHILDREN'S ED !" YOUR ROLE : In your pivotal, fast-paced, and rewarding role as Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for the onsite registration, arrival processes, discharge and insurance validation, with occasional guidance. You also will resolve issues related to registration, billing, insurance, and payment of accounts. To ensure your safety, we currently utilize technology that substantially limits your contact with patients. We offer an intense 3-week structured training program that prepares you for career growth/internal mobility at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. You may also have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule with varying tasks in the Adult Emergency Department and Children's Department. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
