We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Writer, UX and Digital Content who is passionate about creating, testing, and executing digital content strategies that make an impact at one of the nations leading cancer centers. The incumbent will be a key member of the Editorial & Content team, helping to drive business goals, primarily through content on MSKCC.org and other digital properties.

Reporting to our Director, Digital Content Strategy, you will:

• Research, write, gather, organize, and edit digital-first content for MSKCC.org and other digital products, for a variety of audiences including patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and prospective employees.
• Craft high-intent contentincluding headlines, display copy, and CTAsthat drive action, engagement, and conversions.
• Identify SEO wins and implement content changes to achieve increased search rankings and traffic.
• Lead A/B copy testing for MSKCC.org and CRM e-newsletters.
• Lead Project Management for initiatives involving strategic content creation, and liaise with the editorial team and other internal collaborators for content reviews, edits, and more.
• Plan and lead projects involving content archiving and the strategic migration of content into new design templates.
• Measure and report on content effectiveness: review and analyze data from reporting tools or from agency presentations to perform gap analysis, identify trends, and generate actionable recommendations; prepare decks and give presentations to key internal stakeholders; produce key insights to inform future content creation.

You have:

• 5-7 years of experience in content creation, with an emphasis in the digital space.
• Experience with UX writing, content testing, data measurement and analysis, and digital project management.
• Strong understanding of SEO, keyword search, and information architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with science and/or medicine and the ability to present complex subject matter in clear, understandable terms
• A collaborative spirit, solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders
• The ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and deliver work on deadline.
