Compliance Manager - Radiation Oncology - AdventHealth Orlando

• Manages the tracer and compliance audit programs, from development of databases and oversight of data entry, to distribution of reports.  Serves as project manager, in conjunction with Finance/Compliance Officer, when new JC projects are introduced.
• Audits, monitors, and ensures sites are compliant working with Site Leaders.  Maintains the JC program software.  Assists with development and delivery of end-user training.
• Maintains knowledge of current regulatory guidelines and updates tracer tools in response to changes.  Monitors changes in regulations and deploys information.
• Provides staff education on changes and compliance. Develops, recommends, and implements education programs designed to increase awareness and knowledge relating to Joint Commission requirements.
• Works with MIS to maximize use of technology in automating JC quantros reports.  Develops Joint Commission compliance reports using trend lines, control charts, et cetera to facilitate performance improvement.

• Degree, diploma or certificate in clinical/scientific/analytical field (e.g. Radiation Therapy, Imaging, Nursing, etc),
  • OR Minimum of five years of health care experience in a clinical or administrative role - Required
• Specific experience in meeting compliance requirements established by regulatory agencies - Required
• Degree in Radiation Oncology or applicable health-related field (e.g. Radiology, Sonography, Imaging, Nursing, etc) (Preferred)

The Compliance Manager drives a comprehensive process of assessing, planning, monitoring and evaluating AdventHealth’s Radiation Oncology accreditation readiness via its Tracer Program. Develops and manages the internal processes to ensure consistent application of the Tracer Program.  Serves as a resource to the organization on current initiatives being taken by accrediting agencies through timely review of regulatory guidelines, journals, newsletters, relationships with agent representatives and attendance at educational programs.  Ensures tracers address changes in standards and communicates those changes to leadership and staff. Serves as a resource to leadership by providing Joint Commission compliance reports routinely.
