Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Connecticut Coastal OB/GYN is a devoted group of obstetrician-gynecologists and certified nurse-midwives who collaborate to practice safe, personalized health care. Our practice is seeking an experienced full -scope CNM to join our group of 7 OB/GYN physicians and 5 CNM for a full-time position. At least 2 years experience in a CNM role is required to apply. We are an established group based in New Haven with 4 additional satellite offices conveniently located in nearby communities. Our offices are equipped with modern 3D ultrasound machines and we work with skilled sonographers. We are affiliated with a renowned academic hospital in New Haven, CT with a newly remodeled Labor & Birth floor. We provide evidence based care with supportive physicians that embrace midwifery care. Job Responsibilities include: Full-scope CNM care
Inpatient obstetrical care
Outpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care
Collection of accurate medical, obstetrical, and gynecological history of the patient and pregnancy
Perform physical examinations for patients including pap smear, breast examination, abdominal and pelvic examinations
Maintain an accurate record of all observations made within the patient's chart
Prescribe medications for contraception and insert contraceptive medical devices
Admit, manage, and discharge patients as necessary.
Job Requirements include:
National board certification administered by the American Midwifery Certification Board
At least 2 years experience in a CNM role
