You Will Be Responsible For:
Provides oversight of some of the AH hospital campus and staff.
Accountable for financial performance up to a multimillion budget & expenses and staff management across assigned campuses.
Collaborates with cross-functional leaders on optimization in medication use and processes.
Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure, policies, and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff region wide.
Develops and maintains annual budgets for the organization and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.
What You Will Need:
BS in Pharmacy if earned prior to 2003, or PharmD
Three (3) years’ experience of Pharmacy leadership.
Five (5) years’ Pharmacy experience
Residency Program - PGY1 or equivalent experience
Residency Program - PGY2
Experience running infusion center pharmacy operations (oncology preferred)
Ability to analyze financial reports for profitability and expense management
Ability to interact with physicians, nurses and finance to set strategic direction for oncology program
Understanding of third party insurer restrictions and billing for outpatient infusion products
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
State of Florida licensure of Pharmacist
The Director of Pharmacy executes and participates in the developing of the pharmacy strategic and clinical business plans. Provides oversight to several inpatient and outpatient Pharmacies with in the Central Florida Division-South (CFD-S). Directs the overall operation of the Pharmacy and assures compliance and overall safe medication management with all State and Federal laws and agency regulations and standards. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
