Full Time – Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
Assist with Essential Front Desk Functions:
Entering accurate demographic and financial information and updating each visit
Entering Charges and Payments
Taking copays and cash, check and credit card payments
Identifying and uploading insurance
Collecting, sorting faxes and mail
Scanning in documents
Making sure all needed documents and authorizations are completed and signed
Completing medical record requests
Checking that reappointments have been scheduled by Clinical staff
Calling patients to remind them of the need to visit their provider
On top of the Front desk duties the Front Desk Lead is responsible for communicating with all other departments in regard to the front desk department; conduct department meetings regularly; cover all shifts that are open; deal with all complaints from customers; and reporting all manners to the administrator. The biggest responsibility is to supervise over the front desk.

Performs all duties within timeframe established by Board of Directors

Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
High school degree
2 years experience on Front Desk of multi-physician practice
Above all is a Patient Advocate with Excellent Customer Service Skills. Promotes Positive Team Culture and Team Work. Ensures that Meaningful Use and other Practice Quality Measures are achieved. Acts like an Owner.
A front desk manager is generally in charge of all customer interaction before and after they reach the clinical staff. This person will hire and train new people for the front desk. They will make sure that everything runs properly and that everything is organized. There are many responsibilities and duties that come with this job title.
Hiring, firing and training of employees. A front desk manager will also have to make sure that all new employees are fully trained and able to perform their job. This position requires you to lead the customer service team by example. Dealing with disgruntled customers over the phone and in person. Difficult telephone calls, analyzing the front desk budget, setting schedules and welcoming guests are a few duties that this job entails
