The Lebanon VA Medical Center is currently recruiting for one full-time Physician Assistant to serve on a multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Service Team. The Physician Assistant assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care and initiates changes in the system for delivering patient care based on current concepts and findings from research and/or studies. The PA is responsible for providing diagnostic and clinical care in a practice setting as defined by clinical privileges. Clinical duties include: Provides direct patient care in the Pain Clinic and via telehealth Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Pain Team Provides comprehensive pain care consistent with the VHA Pain Management Directive Comprehensive assessment and treatment based on a biopsychosocial model of care for patients referred to the Pain Medicine Service Manages and oversees consults Participates in an accredited pain related continuing education activity Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized Financial Discloser Report: Not required
