Sterile Processing Technician (Full Time)
Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician understands the principles of and is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and/or sterilizing medical supplies, instruments and equipment. Prepares treatment and procedure trays and instruments, and wraps medical devices. Maintains the sterile supply storage room and is responsible for receiving and distributing departmental supplies and equipment. Processes and completes patient charges and credits. Serves as a preceptor for new staff. The omission of specific statement of duties does not exclude them
