The Health Technician is a non-licensed member of the Outpatient Nursing Service and, as such, fulfills a variety of technical, clinical and clerical procedures in support of the patient's plan of care. The incumbent functions under the direction of the registered nurse/physician/clerical program supervisor, exercising a high degree of initiative and independence.
