Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Telephone Operator to work in our Patient Telecommunications Department.

Essential Job Functions:

• The Contact Center Agent will work in a Call Center Environment processing incoming and outgoing calls and ensuring customer resolution and satisfaction.
• Requirements for this position will be to handle a high volume of calls with the capability of responding to all types of emergencies, via telephone, in relation to the hospital emergency codes that are called in by various departments.

Education:

• High School Diploma a must, some college preferred

Requirements:

• Candidate must have experience in a Call Center environment or the equivalent in a high volume office environment.
• Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills as demonstrated by previous work experience.
• Must be able to talk and type simultaneously, to be demonstrated via a typing test
