DescriptionCreates a sense of caring atmosphere as the initial contact for most patients. The clerk interviews patients upon admission, records necessary personal information, and secures required signatures. Registers all inpatients, outpatients, emergency and surgical patients for services. Understands and uses the HMS, Patient Accounting systems along with any web based applications and uses them appropriately.
