Overview

St. Luke's Health System in McCall is seeking a Patient Access Specialist 1 to join our Quick Care team.

Patient Access Specialists are responsible to respond to patient, provider, and department/service area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, registration, scheduling, referral coordination, and general inquiries from patients, providers and the general public.

Shift details: The Urgent Care clinic will be in operation from 8am-8pm, 364 days of the year. Weekends required. Expect 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supports an exceptional experience through all customer interactions, ensuring professional, timely and accurate communication- both verbally and in writing.
• Supports a perspective payment program by communicating organization policies, financial options, explaining insurance coverage/non-coverage.
• Utilize a variety of technology, tools, and resources to support departmental workflows.
• Performs one of the following workflows with attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency:
• - Call front lining
• - Patient Registration
• - Scheduling
