JOB SUMMARY: The Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, management and evaluation of injury prevention programs. The coordinator partners with the community in implementing strategies, initiatives and campaigns to promote the reduction of preventable injuries in Harris County through community awareness, education, advocacy and action. The Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator also applies expertise in trauma to facilitate patient care and participates with data abstraction and Trauma Registry entry.
