The Wound/Ostomy Nurse Practitioner is a Community Living Center and Medical Center consultant to patients with wound or ostomy issues, and assesses, plans, implements and evaluates skin care related to wounds and ostomy patient care, initiates changes in the system for delivering patient care based on current concepts and findings from research and/or evidence based practices studies. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
