Pre-Access Specialist III
Position SummaryThis is a PRN position and will work 16-24 hours weekly or as needed. Monday through Friday business hours. Flexibility is required but also flexibility is given.The Pre Access Specialist III is responsible for accurate and complete insurance verification, authorization, and complete pre-registration when applicable of one or more of the following: Medication authorizations, Genomics Testing, and all scheduled infusions. The position works within the EMR using an automated insurance verification tool along with payer websites and documents within the EMR. This position also works closely with the pharmacy and clinical team to ensure that high dollar drugs are authorized.
