Chief Nurse Surgical Services
This position is located within the Office of the Associate Director, Patient Care Services (ADPCS), and reports to the Deputy Associate Director, Patient Care Services (DADPCS), Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS), Phoenix, AZ. It is a Level 1a major interdisciplinary teaching facility. The Chief Nurse Surgical Services is responsible for the oversight of the Operating Room, the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and the Surgical Specialty Clinics. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
